Artist Residency

From Monday 8 July until Friday 12 July I'll be making use of the wonderful space available at the Artists' Marquee at Burwash Manor. I'll be showing some finished work, but I'm most excited to simply have the dedicated space and time to sketch, reflect, and start some new work. I don't have any pre-conceptions about what I'll make during the week - which is exciting!

I plan to be on site between 10 and 5 each day. If you plan to visit please feel free to get in touch as I'd love to see you there. Most of the time I will be at the marquee itself, but I will also be taking inspiration from the beautiful surrounding country side and the fantastic independent businesses that are based at Burwash Manor.

This is the first year that artists have been invited to be 'resident' during the week (lovely as it is, I won't be sleeping in the marquee!) Previously only used at weekends for exhibitions of up to 9 different artists (which is also well worth a visit, with something different to see every weekend) I asked whether I could arrange a programme of activity during weekdays too - and they said yes! As well as myself artists Kate Green, Pam Cole, and local charity Cambridge Community Arts will be making use of this fantastic location. Take a look at the Artists' Marquee website for details, and better still, pay us a visit during July.
