I missed Cambridge Open Studios so much during the pandemic that for 2022 I went all-out and exhibited work on all 4 of the event weekends in July! I was also lucky enough to collaborate with fabulous independent businesses Providence UK and The Manor Florist, both based at Burwash Manor. Thanks to them I was able to paint a still-life live on site and incorporate some gorgeous Mylands paint colours into one of my large abstract works. I loved every minute of it.
I also worked with my fellow exhibitors and the independent businesses at Burwash to raise money for mental health and wellbeing charity Arts and Minds. I’m very proud that our raffle of generously donated art works and gifts raised £1700 and raised awareness of the charity with the hundreds of visitors we received.

I show with a lovely group of artists at The Artists’ Marquee at Burwash Manor. With a different mix of 9 artists each weekend alongside the fabulous independent shops at Burwash Manor plus refreshments, facilities and ample parking it made for a great day out. And we’ll be back in 2023!
Cambridge Open Studios is a Cambridgeshire-wide event involving an amazing 370 artists across 230 venues this year! It takes place during the first 4 Saturdays and Sundays of July between 10am and 5pm.
