Evolved from my 'shards and ashes' series reflecting on personal journeys this is a high impact, poetic painting. The materials used, which are undisguised, speak directly of strength balanced with fragility - the board itself being manufactured from shreds combined for new purpose - while adding to the aesthetic of the artwork.
